75% Fine Merino Wool, 25% Nylon
[Superwash]
Fingering Weight (#1), Double stranded
50 grams (x2) / 230 yards (x2)
Hand Knitted and Dyed
You can knit 2 exact socks at the same time! Each strand of yarn is dyed at the exact spot as the other strand. This technique makes even randomly dyed colorways produce two identical strands of yarn.
Use the “Magic Loop” method to knit 2 socks at the same time. No need to wind into balls of yarn first, knit directly from the cloth. Many free resources are available to learn the Magic Loop technique (on-line or YouTube etc.). If desired you may frog the cloth and wind each strand into a ball, but what’s the point to that? Learn a new and fun technique and
Kiss the One Sock Syndrome GOODBYE!
Of course you can knit whatever you want, like sleeves, mittens or gauntlets just to name a few.
All yarn has been thoroughly washed and dried after the dyeing process.
Sock Blank / Cloth
This is a superwash wool. This means it is machine wash and dryable. Use a cool water gentle cycle wash and low heat to dry.
I recommend a gentle hand wash to extend the life of the garment and color.
