You can knit 2 exact socks at the same time! Each strand of yarn is dyed at the exact spot as the other strand. This technique makes even randomly dyed colorways produce two identical strands of yarn, which in turn, makes identical twin socks!
 
Use the “Magic Loop” method to knit 2 socks at the same time. No need to wind into balls of yarn first, knit directly from the cloth. Many free resources are available to learn the Magic Loop technique (on-line or YouTube etc.). If desired you may frog the cloth and wind each strand into a ball, but what’s the point to that? Of course you can knit whatever you want, like sleeves, mittens or gauntlets just to name a few.
 
A note about the sock blanks:
The colorways of these sock cloths will result in a pair of identical twin socks.  Because socks, or other items made from the blank will be the same, the actual design on the blank will not transfer into the sock unless it is specifically designed to do so – like the self-striping or gradient lines. This is a feature of the Hidden Message sock blank / cloth. Where a secret message, poem, charm or blessing is written on the cloth. When knitted into socks no one else can read it, but the knitter knows it’s in there! Essentially you will be creating a new pattern by undoing the old pattern.
All yarn has been thoroughly washed and dried after the dyeing process.
